New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez continued his high level of play this season with an acrobatic interception Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts while wearing a face mask.
The interception was part of a productive day for the rising defensive back, who allowed no catches and no yards in the game. He was targeted only once, with the Colts mostly throwing him away.
It was his second interception this season. He managed to make a hard read in a tight space and braced himself in front of the receiver to take him down with the handle. The loss of the ball showcased his athleticism, ball skills and overall strength as a playmaker.
