There is one game left on the NFL schedule in Week 12, but it is between two AFC teams, meaning the NFL playoffs picture in the NFC is clear heading into Week 13.
There was only one change in the playoff picture, although it did get tighter in two divisions.
This is what the current status of the NFC playoffs looks like:
- Detroit Lions, 10-1
- Philadelphia Eagles, 9-2
- Seattle Seahawks, 6-5
- Atlanta Falcons, 6-5
- Minnesota Vikings, 9-2
- Green Bay Packers, 8-3
- Washington Commanders, 7-5
The Arizona Cardinals are in eighth place at 6-5 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in ninth place at 5-6.
The Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers are also still in play at 5-6 in the 10th and 11th spots.
The only change in the standings was Seattle. They took control of the NFC West with a 16-6 head-to-head victory over Arizona in Seattle. They are ahead of Atlanta in third place because they have a direct tiebreaker against the Falcons.
The NFC South got tighter with Tampa's 30-7 win over the New York Giants. They barely won a game against Atlanta, although the Falcons are ahead 2-0 against the Bucs in a direct comparison.
The Lions, Eagles, Vikings and Packers all won their games in Week 12. Washington lost 34-26 to the Dallas Cowboys, their third straight loss.
