Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence will not practice Wednesday as he begins Week 14 of the NFL's concussion protocol, Jacksonville head coach Doug Pederson told reporters Wednesday.
Lawrence entered the concussion protocol after suffering an illegal hit from Texas linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair to Houston on Sunday, which led to skirmishes between the teams. The NFL Al-Shair is without pay for three games on Tuesday.
Mac Jones replaced Lawrence as the Jaguars' quarterback and finished the game completing 20 of 32 passes for 235 yards and two touchdowns.
