The Atlanta Falcons may see a familiar face when they play the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 15. Former Falcons quarterback took over for the injured Gardner Minshew late in the fourth quarter in the Raiders' 29-19 loss to the Denver Broncos.
Ridder completed five of 10 pass attempts for 64 yards, lost a fumble and took a sack in the red zone to end the game. While he got off to a slow start, Ridder led a nice drive on his second attempt and nearly threw a touchdown pass after dodging a sack.
The catch was ruled short of the end zone and Ridder took a sack on the next play to end the game. According to a report by Minshew has a broken collarbone and will miss the remainder of the season.
QB Gardner Minshew has broken his collarbone and is out for the season, sources tell me . A frustrating end for Minshew.

The Falcons play the Raiders on Monday Night Football in Week 15, and Ridder is currently the only healthy quarterback on the Las Vegas roster.
The Falcons' former third-round pick was traded to Arizona during the offseason and was later poached by the Raiders from the Cardinals' practice squad when Aidan O'Connell broke his thumb.
Ridder appeared in 19 games (17 starts) during his two seasons in Atlanta, rushing for 3,544 yards, 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
