It took until the fourth quarter for the New England Patriots to finally take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Their first touchdown came on a 38-yard strike from rookie quarterback Drake Maye, and the second was a scoop-and-score, courtesy of Patriots star cornerback Christian Gonzalez.
Dolphins running back Jaylen Wright fumbled the ball on a handoff, leading to Gonzalez picking up the ball and running it back for a 63-yard touchdown.
Gonzalez is known for his outstanding coverage against some of the NFL's top receivers this season. However, on this play he showed his quick instinct to make a play when the opportunity presented itself.
The Patriots' social media team released a “sights and sounds” video of the game on Tuesday.

It was a difficult day overall for New England's defense as they fell behind early and were never able to recover. Still, Gonzalez's play was a bright spot for a team looking for silver linings.
