The Cincinnati Bengals have shied away from making major moves to help the roster as playoff hopes fade.
While the Bengals made a small trade for a running back and did the usual Sometimes the big breakthrough just doesn't happen.
So when you suggest actions that teams should take, kept it simple by pointing out that the Bengals could sign cornerback Myles Byrant from the Houston Texans' practice squad:
Things can't get any worse for the Bengals at cornerback right now. The fact that the Bengals' pass defense is so bad that they are losing games in which Joe Burrow performed brilliantly is one of the biggest frustrations in the NFL right now. The Bengals brought in Xavien Howard for a visit, but he left without a deal.
At this point, it would be wise to add more talent to the team, and Bryant is only 26 years old, so he would be a good short-term addition and perhaps a long-term member of the roster.
The Bengals also have to continue to think about the future at the premium position. as well as Dax Hill, while that has seen him sitting on the bench several times.
